I went in to this Safeway location looking for a very unique cake for my Daughters 1st birthday party on Thursday, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted, it was a girly deer party theme and I couldn’t find what I was looking for in books, and there wasn’t much online either. Luckily for me I was greeted by Cathy, she allowed me to send pictures of our party decorations, and she said she would try to work her magic! Well less two days later, I went to pick up my cakes, 1/4 sheet cake and smash cake for my daughter, I got very emotional because they were way beyond my expectations and absolutely gorgeous and perfect for her “One deerful” party theme! I cried when looking at the amazing details and special touches she added. Everyone at the party commented on how amazing the cakes were, and I will be sure to go to Cathy for al my future baking needs! I highly recommend this Safeway, and the bakery most of all. Thank you Cathy!

Friendly, hometown service. Best bet for their deli if you want advertised rice/noodle meal specials. A trip thru the floral department is warrented if you're looking for a pick-me-up or a host gift. They always have nifty seasonal/holiday selections.

NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN, NOT EVEN FOR A DRINK OF WATER!!!! Went there today to make two arrangements for my Anniversary tonight, brought in two of my own vases, and the lady was extremely rude three times!!!!!!!!!!! And to top it off, she is the Employee of the month. I have never been treated with such an disgusting, disrespectful attitude going to by flowers in my life. They also nickel and dime you to death. Wanted to charge me $130, with a $50 arrangement fee, when I've never been charged that in my life at Safeway. I ended up going to a real florist in Spokane, was treated with Love & Respect, and ended up paying less for more quality! Appleway Florist is the place to go!
