Dry Ridge Outfitters at Harriman State Park

Well organized. Fine horses and tack matched with each rider. Great trail ride to Moonshine Ridge and along Silver Lake. Up inclines, over logs, around boulders. The seven of us enjoyed the wonderful ride very much. My oldest said she felt like she was in a movie like Lord of the Rings, winding our way up through the boulders to the top of the caldera where we enjoyed stretching our legs and seeing the view. Russ was very respectful and welcoming host. We did 1 hour ride and it was a lot of fun. Horses looked healthy and were behaving really well.nVery pretty natural trail that we took which was around 3 miles. Instructions were very clear and short. Enjoyed the ride a lot.

We did the elk ride in mid September. Heard dozens of different bulls bugling all morning. It was amazing. Horses and guide were great. Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough about our experience. The scenery is gorgeous, the horses were well-trained and cared for. Our guide had ridden horses for about 40 years so even our new riders on their own horses felt safe going up and down hills in moose country. From booking to departure, the process was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend! We will be coming again!
