We have always had very good food and service at Growler's in McCall. Today was different. At 6:50 PM ordered 2 calzones to go, and the nice and courteous person took my order informed me it would be about 30 minutes because of the amount of orders ahead of me. So I ordered one of their ice cold beers while I waited. About 50 minutes later I asked one of the people working how my order was doing and she said she would check. About 15 minutes I asked a different employee about my order because I noticed that two other tables that came in after me had received their pizzas. The second person I asked about my order brought them out to me at 8:05 PM. She did offer me a complimentary beer for the mix up / delay, I declined the beer because my family was waiting at home for me to bring home dinner. I checked the temperature of the one I shared with my wife after the 1 1/2 mile drive home and it was 115 degrees. Not as hot as they normally are when I got them home but still ok to eat and still good.

All the food is great here but I recommend the calzone and burgers (don't forget the fries, they are perfect). Their special sauce is fantastic and I always order extra. Sometimes the service is a little slow but if you're eating inside it's not a big deal, they also have a pretty good variety of local beers on tap! It's also one of the only places in McCall with a drive through.

I have been to Growler's a few times in my travels to McCall. Man this place is delicious, our whole family loves it. We have had a few different pizzas, a calzone (oh lord those are amazing here), burgers, and a few of their appetizers--all were great. Service was quick and friendly, and they had good beer choices too for those who partake. Growler's is one of our go-to places when we take a trip to McCall, I recommend you check it out too.
