Second time coming here and we love it! Staff is always friendly and the coffee tastes good. They are open later than a lot of other local spots and are open earlier which is convenient when leaving town early. They also have a great selection of ice cream year round. The tables have verses carved into them which we were told were chosen by locals. Overall a nice small town charm.

First review I’ve ever done, worst experience I have ever had. I have traveled throughout the United States and several other countries never have I had to ask for silverware after waiting and hour and a half even at that my wife had to give everyone their silverware!!! No refills were once offered, charged for syrup and butter!!! 118.00 dollars for 8 people 4 of which children! On top of having to ask for out check but hey according to the owner that’s the price of the food!!!!nnGlad they only survive on tourists!!!nnWait the hour for the pancake house in McCall it’s worth it!!!nnNext time I’ll save my money and rent jet skies!!!!!

My wife and I decided to take the two hour drive to McCall to spend the day looking at the scenery and getting a bite to eat.nnWe saw what looked like a very nice diner and coffee shop. We entered, masks adorned, to see they were seating with social distancing. We were second in line for about 10 minutes when a young man came over and said it would be 30-40 minutes and took phone numbers of those parties in line.nnWe left and took a walk noticing most nothing was open. We took in the beautiful lake and walked back to the diner. We stopped in the coffee shop and ordered a couple of cups of coffee. As we waited another couple walked in the diner area. Around this time a blonde waitress walked into the coffee shop area and was told by the young man he had the numbers of the people who were waiting. That waitress stormed out saying I don’t have time to call anyone I am just seating the next people. My wife immediately spoke up and said we are here. I walked over to the diner side and said we were here and ready to be seated. Virtually ignored, they sat the people who had just walked in. I told another waitress we were here first. She said we are cleaning another table and that will be yours. I balked at that telling her we waited almost 40 minutes and she should apologize to the people seated and seat my wife and I.nnWell needless to say that did not happen. I was so angry and annoyed I walked to the back where the two waitresses were and said you know, my wife and I were to be seated and not the people who had walked in. The blond waitress retorted, we are running short staffed Please be patient. I said we were patient for the last 40 minutes and she should pull her head out of he a$$. She then said I could leave. I said no worries we would never return.nnThe overall demeanor of that blonde waitress was poor. She had no intention of honoring those who were there first. It’s no wonder there is a for sale sign in the window!

We dropped in for ice cream while we were shopping. Good selection very helpful staff. Masks are required and they're practicing social distancing. I was thanked by the server for wearing my mask, I liked her thoughtfulness.ud83dude0a
