Distinctive Painting Company

My husband and I had purchased a retirement home 2400 miles away from where we had lived most of our lives. We had a home inspection done and several issues arose (no showstoppers) but items required attention so I came out to get them done. I had Angie’s List – I could get anything fixed except finding a painter in this area. Fortunately, Ron Adams (owner of Distinctive Painting Company) lived across the road and was easy to find on the Internet and well regarded by the local restaurant staffs and owners. When Ron came to do estimate, all of the smoke alarm batteries had expired and were chirping away. He got his ladder and replaced all of them before he even got the job. Ron provided separate, detailed estimates for each task: Exterior painting, exterior trim and interior painting. He arrived when he said he would, provided quality, guaranteed work and stayed on budget.nnThe house had not been lived in for many months and was very dirty inside and out. Ron and Diego (his super assistant) power washed the entire house, removed cobwebs, wiped up grease and and vacuumed up lots of dust and sand on the inside before painting even started. He had no problem that I was painting the interior trim and two guest rooms (excluding ceilings - my shoulders just can't do that) or that other contractors were there while he was painting. The end result of the painting is fantastic. You cannot tell on the exterior where the old paint and new paint meet. The trim makes the house pop from the street. For the inside, Ron was a great help in picking paint colors and accent walls and the result is terrific. We are now moved in and enjoying our new house inside and out thanks to the wonderful work done by Ron and Diego.
