Great views!nDue to Covid, they do limit the sightseeing tickets, so I had to be calling early each day I was out there to check. Good thing, I was able to get tickets on a Sunday! The tickets are $75 for the whole day. The views are breathtaking. Definitely a must for first timers. One thing I noticed is that they do not spray the gondola after someone gets off.

One of the must-go places with family/kids. It's well worth to go on top ( the very top not only the stop by place i.e. your first stop). There are hiking trails and tonne of things to do on top. Kids love it here. The views are breathtaking and the air is clean as you like. The smells of trees and mountain and the views of nature are at its best. Only gripe with this place is it can be full at times and also is closed a lot of times when you get there - they say it's sold out. It would be nice to have an online system so you can book in advance and not have to go there (drive for hours to climb to South Lake Tahoe) and find out it's closed. Other than that - great.

I visited in the spring & loved the views. I had too try again during winter! Even better, seeing everything covered in snow. Again, amazing views! Staff is so friendly!

This was certainly an experience. So beautiful. And staff was enthusiastic and friendly. I do wish the windows were buffed out because the scratches interfere with the view and photos as you can see in mine. However over all I loved our time going up and down the mountain.

Although Covid-19 protocols do result in longer than former wait times, the gondola is still a great way to get uphill. Midweek, getting in line early, will serve you well. Otherwise, and on the weekend, bring your patience.
