Bombay Restaurant and Buffet Truck Stop

Don’t let the “truck stop” part of it fool you...this is a really great Indian food restaurant that just happens to co-exist there. It’s my go-to food on I-40! Don’t let all the negative mask reviews steer you away. Everything is clean, law compliant and supportive of medical conditions and religious beliefs. A word of advice, if you are in a hurry order about 30 minutes ahead unless you are willing to wait. It’s the type of quality food they actually need time to make.

I have always liked the food at this place, but they are not taking any care to be safe during covid and are not following New Mexico mandates for restaurants. None of the staff or chefs use masks and the facility isn't clean. They also don't make any patrons use masks. I did pick up my food order, but I brought it home and reheated everything to feel safe eating it. Also, when I called in the order they didn't ask my name or have any way to track whose order it was, so when I got there and picked it up they gave me the wrong order. Again, this is tasty good quality Indian food but everything else, including sanitation and service, was not good.

Good Bryani from here. Most of their food is very tasty, I just wish they would get out of that location. The truck stop is very dirty, bathrooms are never clean, no soap to wash hands etc..
