Percha Dam State Park

Although very simple, my family and I love Percha Dam State Park. Percha is our go to place when we want to get away for a weekend. It's peaceful yet full of life. I always enjoy my experience here and I love the sound of the running water (Dam). It almost feels like home away from home when camping. People and staff are very friendly. I've seen Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops enjoy this park, I have seen families and friends gather here all for a good time. Important stuff to know... Restrooms and showers are available, spaces for RVS are well spaced out, pet friendly, staff on site, always monitored for safety and etc, fire pits, fishing, and hookups for RVs.

Very clean and quiet place. The older gentleman there is very helpful and polite.

Park was nice and clean, camp host very friendly. Only complaint was the goat heads (prickers) were awful everywhere. There's not really any water in canal and very low water in the river. One bathroom is open, other is closed and playground is closed presumably due to covid. Campsites are clean, have a fire pit (ring of stones), a basic charcoal grill, picnic table with covering. The sites are kind of set up weird because you pull in and the rvs are set up nose to bumper but you have a big concrete pad to park on. We stayed at site 2.
