Country Pride

Worst Country Pride I've ever been to. Only a few tables open. Service is slow because they're understaffed with only 2 people working during BREAKFAST TIME!! I had to walk away waiting in line to be served for what seemed like hrs. If you're going to be the only American diner in the middle of 3 truck stops full of hungry truckers and operate like this, JUST CLOSE!!!

As of June 24 they posted that meals to go were offered. This is false advertising. I looked in every cooler in store and none to be found. Assuming maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot. Ask cashier and they had no clue what I was talking about. No meals have been made in that restaurant in a very long time they tell me. Just another company depending on truck drivers giving us the shaft.

Open till 10pm according to this website, but closed at 7pm!!!nTruckers are tired and hungry! Stick to your times!Truckers can't just get up and go! Frustrating!

I go to this special place many times because I love the special air that is part of this place. The team is very cordial and skilfull. The service is pretty fast. Also, the food they serve is first-rate. I visited more than once and I was always delighted. The expense is fair. I suggest this place to my friends and family.

I ate here with a friend while stopping through Gallup on a trip. The food was cheap, but startlingly delicious! I bought an 8oz steak, while my buddy had the steak and eggs. The cut was thick, cooked to order and seasoned well enough that I didn't need steak sauce or anything else. His was also picture perfect. The service was friendly and swift, and it was one of the few places where I felt compelled to leave a 25% tip. The fact that it's tucked away in a truck stop probably primes people for a subpar experience, but this was a nice diner. I'd definitely recommend it, and I'd certainly go back, if I lived in Gallup.
