Social Worker and Dr. Lied to us about placing our elderly mother in a nursing home for 90 days but when they transfered her over with an ambulance without our knowledge, they could have at least told us to transfer her ourselves.

My doctor said I wasnt a real mother yet because I didn't give birth naturally. I attempted to report it but never received a call back from the individual in charge of complaints. So, I thought It was a sign to save my own insanity and energy and focus on being new mom. Also, they don't help you to sign your baby up for their birth certificate and insurance like they do at IHS. I was told they don't have these services and I had to do it myself. I was overwhelmed with billing, the extra calls, and errands. I just wanted to be home with my baby. It was a horrible experience.

It is good that this hospital is available as a resource to Gallup. However, I felt like they were pushing for some unnecessary testing at first. It took a long time to get transferred out to a specialty hospital. I was given the wrong directions to the transferring hospital, further delaying my ability to track my loved ones care.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in to This health care system to see a doctor.!! None of the doctors are taking new patients. I had an appointment scheduled & when I arrived they told me this doctor would not be able to take my insurance. Now, I have to wait another 2 MONTHS before I am able to see a general practitioner. WHAT A CROCK!!

Be very careful. Needed a transfer to another hospital out of the area for psychiatric care. Instead of calling for an ambulance, and without asking, they ordered an air ambulance for a non-life threatening, non-time critical condition. The nurse claimed they didn't have enough ambulances in the local area. But, they never even tried to call. Despite insurance paying a considerable amount of money to the life flight company, balanced-billing still left me with a life-crushing bill. I am worried about a possible conflict of interest between the hospital and the local life flight service after witnessing a similar incident to another patient. Don't fall for the necessity of an air ambulance when a regular ambulance will do.
