As a small non-profit, hiring CLA was a big decision for us. I am thrilled to say we have been so pleased with our decision! We needed help with grant reporting and some financial management as a growing youth serving agency and our service accountant, Cheryl, has been a lifesaver! She is knowledgeable, always helpful, responds quickly to my questions and is easily accessible whenever I need her. The rate is more than reasonable and we are glad to have taken this leap to hire some assistance, and would certainly recommend CLA to colleagues (and we have!)

We started a transition to CLA in March of 2020 when our in office controller decided to retire and I can not explain how amazing our transition has been. The CLA staff are talented, professional and amazing to work with. Brandie and Milo have been patient in explaining and teaching new process and systems. An amazing group to work with!

CLA has taken over the accounting function for us and they have done an amazing job. They are on-time, courteous, responsive, and accurate. Their services have taken a load off our shoulders at a very reasonable price and allowed us to focus on the most important aspect of our mission - serving vulnerable neighbors.

CLA acts as our fractional accounting department, and everything from the transfer of years of data to the details of local personal property taxes, CLA doesn't miss a trick. They saved me 15 hours a week of bookkeeping -- what could you do with that kind of extra time in your own business?

After our long-time, in-house bookkeeper resigned, we were fortunate to find CLA in Albuquerque to handle our small business’s needs. Although CLA is a large national company, their people in Albuquerque are set up to work closely with small, local businesses. Mandy Connell, our point person at CLA, made the transition from desk-top, paper-driven bookkeeping to on-line, paperless systems seem easy. The inevitable glitches during the transition were taken care of immediately and our business was able to continue smoothly. We really appreciate the personal, efficient service we’ve received from Mandy and the CLA team!
