I used to coach Chris. I've since moved to Lincoln, NE, but have been following the growth of his food truck which I've never had the chance to visit. Let me tell you how excited I was to discover that his brick and mortar Grand Opening was three days before I visited the state. I made it clear to my parents, this was supper our first night.nnMy three-year-old and 77 year old parents LOVED the Bourbon Chicken. My wife said the Philly was one of the best she'd ever had. I had to try the Cheeseburger Sub. I wasn't disappointed.nnThe fact that this place is open right across from where Chris and I both attended high school is just so cool. The food is wonderful. The spot is perfect in both location and atmosphere. You owe it to yourself to try it.

Today was the second time I have visited Ruby Ru's. The first time I came in late on a weekend day - way after lunch, but before dinner time.nI asked what the best entree was to order and was told to try the Bourbon chicken with Mac & Cheese.nThat day, I would say the food was average.nToday, I went back and ordered the same thing (at lunch time). I am glad I went back, as this time, the Bourbon chicken is EXCELLENT and the mac and cheese is pretty darn good.nI am not sure what the difference is between my visits, but I would definitely recommend trying out Ruby Ru's.

Wow what a GEM!!!!nnI’ve heard so much about these guys and I’ve finally had to chance to stop by the storefront and man I was blown away!nnSUCH good quality food literally like getting a home cooked meal without all the fuss.nnMust try if you’re in or around the area!

The food is phenomenal. Amazing atmosphere and the staff is fantastic. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!!

Delicious, friendly, quick. Has a little bit of everything. Bowl and subs were great. Look forward to exploring the menu
