Big Doug’s BBQ

Grabbed BBQ from Doug two days in a row and had just about everything on the menu. Absolutely awesome Texas style bbq. Brisket was melt in your mouth with that crusty pepper dry rub edge, but the big surprise was the Banh Mi sandwich. A good Banh Mi is one of my favorite sandwiches and Doug’s take on it is one of the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a must-have in Creede!

Really great bbq! Turkey was good and the coleslaw was very tasty. So glad Creede has a good bbq place. Check the hours before you head out.

We had slice beef and ribs with side beans and cole slaw better than what I have had in Texas.nI would recommend food is fresh and tasty.nWay to go bid Doug

This open air BBQ stand was closed this year when we went to Creede, but last year we ate there and it was great. I hope he opens again soon. The cheesesteak sandwich and pulled pork were among the best my son and I have ever had, and his sauce is very unique and tasty. It is fun to eat out in his yard on the picnic tables behind the stand. Well worth a stop if he is open.

Food was excellent. Doug greeted us, very nice man. Again food is the best! Creede is a cool place to vacation.
