Just tried the new beat grocery store! What a cool concept! I ordered 2 meal kits, one came with ice cream. The ice cream......I'm going to buy one of every flavor now its amazing. I got the local dairy matcha and it's the best I've ever had. I love the meal kits for something pretty fast to whip up with minimal effort and it feels like a much healthier/heartier option than something from a can or box I may make when I'm lazy. So far I've tried my ramen kit that serves 2 people, I've had 3 servings and probably have at least 2 more! Generous portions! I hope they continue the meal kits post Covid and I'm looking forward to trying more of them in the future!

The Beat is one of The Best veggie restaurants I have experienced worldwide!nnThere is a perfect balance of delicious, fresh, artistically-served veggie foods, and a warm, positive, comforting environment. The warm welcome, and friendly environment, is almost as good as the amazing, beautifully presented, delicious, plant-based foods!!nnWe look forward to enjoying The Beat as our new Carbondale neighborhood hang out.nnKudos to the team!!!nSandi and Bob

Once again my 2003 Subaru proved a trusty steed as I set out to experience The Beat, of Carbondale lore. This time, a time, unlike any other time; Profound cocktails, puzzlingly-delicious dishes, ambiance worth bottling. If you want to live life, you’ll visit The Beat. 11/10

My new 'go to' for dining out. i'm a chef, and so very very picky. The Beat wows me every time. the service is fantastic. The food is wonderful and i don't often say that about restaurant food. This is the exception. Every dish is full of flavor and clearly these guys care about what they are serving.

We went there for dinner and it was a little disappointing. It's not that the food was bad, it was just plain and boring, nothing surprising. We had the shepherd's pie and the niçoise salad. Entries are tiny. Not worth the money for us. Maybe next time we'll try for lunch. See if it's better.
