Smoke Modern BBQ

This place is a little fancy for a BBQ place, but they have some good dishes on the menu and I keep going back or take family here for a good meal. I am from the Kansas City area and would put some of their stuff up against the good stuff back home, like the burnt ends and macaroni cheese dish, but the pulled pork is just okay. Good place to take family and kids, but a little too modern of a atmosphere for true BBQ and more of a BBQ fusion restaurant. I will still go back and enjoy it though. For the real deal, go to Marble, CO.nn**UPDATE - I feel this place has take a step or two back in their quality and have been less than thrilled with the BBQ and what I am getting for my money. Let the server know both times and hope they put a little more effort in their food.

This place is awesome! Great atmosphere, friendly service and the barbecue meats are delicious! The southern fried okra is a great tasting appetizer too. The aroma outside drew us in when we were undecided where to eat dinner while visiting Glenwood Springs.nnLisa & Byron MirandanNew Orleans, LA

Fantastic brisket and pulled pork that blew me away.n2 years later I keep visiting and had the smoked chicken, it was close to closing time and it was all that was left. Now I think about that chicken I had that night as maybe one of the best things Ive ever had.

We got the Combo Platter with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. The brisket was phenomenal. Moist and with the perfect smokiness you'd expect. I would get just a plate of brisket 100%. The pulled pork was good too, but I thought the ribs were in the dry side. We also got the sweet potato fries and Mac and Cheese for sides but they messed up our order and instead of Mac and Cheese, gave us baked beans. The sweet potato fries were a little overdone for my liking and the baked beans a bit underdone and hard. They left tables between guests open, which was very nice in these pandemic era times, and the service was great. We will definitely be back for the brisket!

Food was amazing! Had the smoked burger, loaded baked potato, and mac and cheese. All the food tasted great and was prepared very well. Will definitely eat there again when I'm in town.
