Keyah Grande Guest House

This is an incredible place. The vastness and spaciousness of the residence is incredible. We had a wedding celebration here and it was so special and unique! This place is full of beauty and amazement! The views are spectacular! The amenities feel as if they are unending. My family and kids loved the cool hot tub. And they had to pry me away from the sauna when it was time to go! We got to enjoy a beautiful walk around the property with the resident elk freely roaming about their pastures. Truly a magical and wonderful experience set in the beautiful setting of the Rockies!

Our stay at Keyah Grande was beautiful, elegant, delicious, luxurious and relaxed! It was such a joy to be in the country in the quiet with only the animal sounds and the stars at night. Mckensie and Tyler were perfect hosts. Our meals were art on a plate and our beverages were always made to order! A perfect respite.

As a frequent traveller between Minnesota and Arizona, my wife and I have struggled to find 5-star level accommodation along the way. Luckily, we stumbled upon opulent yet down home comfortable Keyah tucked outside the scenic mountain town of Pagosa. Keyah has a lot of great reviews and they deserve it as McKenzie makes a wonderful hostess and chef. The panoramic views and hikes are impeccable. This is truly a great American luxury destination spot.

Our three night stay was exceptional. Everything about Keyah Grande exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were top notch. The breakfasts were delicious. The views were breathtaking. McKenzie and Tyler were super hosts - on top of everything and very friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

My boyfriend told me he had a surprise trip planned after Thanksgiving (we visited Keyah Grande in Nov. 2019). Although it was dark when we arrived to the “secret destination” (the Keyah Grande guest house), I was completely in awe of its tranquil beauty. The event coordinator and head chef, McKenzie, was waiting by the door when we arrived. She was excited to see us and offered us each a glass of wine. McKenzie was warm and welcoming. We immediately felt at ease, as if we were visiting with a friend. During our initial tour of the guest house, I was struck by the beautiful artwork displayed on almost every wall of the house. McKenzie later shared with us that each themed guest room includes artwork and original pieces from the country it represents. I have never stayed in a house so beautiful and richly decorated, yet I immediately felt like I was home. Our days were filled with exploring the Keyah Grande Ranch via four wheeler, viewing the breathtaking mountain landscape from our suite window (we stayed in the America suite), enjoying on-site massages and facials, sitting by the large living room fireplace eating dessert, indulging in chef prepared meals for two and watching the evening snow fall as we relaxed in the outdoor hot tubs.nnMcKenzie took care of all the details of every activity and every meal, the cuisine was by far some of the best we had tasted.nnOn our final evening at Keyah Grande, McKenzie told me she had prepared a cake just for me. Cake is my favorite dessert and I was honored that she would take time to prepare this final treat for us to enjoy. When the cake was delivered, I noticed she had written “Will you marry me?” on the cake. By the time I realized this, my boyfriend was on one knee. What made this moment memorable was that McKenzie captured it on film and also volunteered to take several pictures of us leading up to, during and after our engagement. My fiancé later informed me that McKenzie had been working with him personally, via text and phone call, in order to plan meals, activities and the surprise engagement over the course of only two days.nnKeyah Grande is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. In addition to its beauty, the high quality services provided and McKenzie's uplifting attitude, positivity, honesty and willingness to work with us made our experience something we will never forget.
