Very friendly tour guides! Shoutout to Kaeper!

These were the first caverns I have been to. The story of how they were discovered and the work that went into creating the path for the tour is so fascinating. You also can only get there by ferry and a bus ride to the top. Which adds to the whole feel of going into another world. The tour is a decent length and you'll get a decent workout going to, through and away from the caverns. I would definitely go again!!

Such a great place with so much cool history!nThey respect mask wearers as well as the mask exempt and I am so grateful! I'm nearly 35 weeks pregnant and exempt. It was nice they didn't hassle me. The tour was incredible! Lots of stairs and uphill and downhill walking but I made it through and so did my 5 year old. It was super cold crossing the lake by boat! The caverns were surprisingly warm compared to the outside air!nCave Dave, our tour guide, was funny and amiable. The whole experience took about two hours and was very pleasant. Will definitely be back! But, when my kid is older. The stairs were a lot for him.

A great experience! The boat ride to the caverns is beautiful, a little breezy. But inside the cave it is a comfortable 70 degrees. Our guide Joe was very knowledgeable, friendly & cracked a few jokes. This experience does have plenty of stairs though, so if you are not a fan of stairs warning!

This place is awesome! Millions of people drive i5 through Shasta and don’t even know it’s here. I’ve wanted to go since I was about 9 and at 40 I finally got to! The guy giving the tour was a blast, I wish I could remember his name but he was the boss he said! Great guy! Great tour of such an epic place to visit, pictures don’t do it any justice, you have to see it with your own eyes!! If you have a chance...GO!! You may never get an experience like this ever again!! There are many stairs and walking so keep that in mind if you have injuries. Kids will have a blast, great place for the whole family. I will be coming back, it would take a lifetime to see all the amazing this in this cave!!
