This is a trailhead to hike to Grizzly Lake. If you are hiking to Grizzly Lake, it recommended to bring properly gear. New backpackers are not recommended due to the intense incline and decline at the beginning of the hike. The views are great and worth the hike if you are interested.nThere are plenty of parking spaces and many people show up very early (5am).nThere is not any cell phone service but there is a ranger station a couple miles away if you need assistance.nYou won’t need to pack a lot of water. Bringing a water filter like a life straw is good since there are flowing water every couple miles.nRemember to get your fire permit and overnight stay permits. According to the sign, fire permits are needed for propane/butane stove as well.
