I was a walk-in for an injury and I was seen right away. Everyone from the front staff, the nurses, physician, and Xray technician were above and beyond friendly and helpful. I am so grateful they were there to help me... thank you!

Dr levinson has been my doctor for a couple of years. So good. He cares, he trys hard to help. He challenges me to improve. Good doc! In a great hospital! I've had to move and I'm missing PMC already. Dr Wallace rocks also

I went in for a followup appointment. My PCP was out of town, so I met with Dr. Wallace and Ruth, his nurse. Exceptional care was taken with Covid protocols. I was very pleased with the expert care given to me by these individuals. Although my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy, I am hopeful that this error will be remedied.

I am a physician from Austin & was visiting Pagosa Springs Feb 2020 when I suddenly needed emergency care. My 1-star review has nothing to do with the actual care I received. Both the ambulance crew and the ER staff were great. Unfortunately the billing dept is absolutely a shambles. My insurance covered the visit but I had a co-pay. I paid the copay according to my insurance EOB. The remaining amount on my EOB was different from that of the Medical Center by $34.87. Twice I contacted the billing department. After long holds, twice I was told to submit my EOB to them & my bill would be adjusted. I thought after the 2nd time all would be fine, but now, nearly a year later, I received a “final notice”. I will pay the small residual amount since I have no faith that this hospital’s billing department would get it right a 3rd time when they already got it wrong twice. It’s a shame that such superior care has to be marred by such billing incompetence.

Secretary who checks you in diagnoses you and degrades you the second you step foot in the door. They discuss your medical history right in the lobby and demand to know why you are there. Um, that's not the secretarys business and should not have to be explained especially with people all around. Sets the tone for the visit. If the secretary does not believe the reason you are there is legitimate, you will not get proper treatment and you will not have a chance to explain anything.. So essentially if you dont make it through the interview with the secretary, just go to Durango because you are wasting your time. Super unprofessional and I regret going there.
