Junction City Campground

Great hosts, great sites, cheap price, but right on the side of the highway. This place is really nice. If you are in an RV or don't care about the noise, this is the spot for you. There was a light coming from host or bathrooms that was quite unpleasant in a hammock at night. Car lights streaking through the trees at night is actually quite nice to see. I'll definitely make this a stop again since those are not a big deal to me.

Great campground with water near the Trinity that, really surprisingly, allows campfires even in the summer. The host was super friendly. The major drawback is the proximity to the road. You get a lot of road noise throughout the night when big trucks go by.

Although close to the highway the noise from traffic wasn't too bad. Nice Juniper smells, not as dark as many other campgrounds in this area and well kept. Thanks to the host. Campground wood available for a donation.
