Stopped in for a couple fresh sandwiches. Didn't disappoint! Ham, turkey, salami and other cold cuts are top quality. The choices of sandwiches on the specialty menu offer excellent value and selection. The bread used was from their own bakery and was still warm.nnThe staff was patient with our order and attentive. Major Market is a place I go to find unique, hard to find items. Like hot cross buns for Easter that I couldn't find anywhere else. They have a bakery counter with cakes, tarts and gourmet items. The deli is really good too. They may not have all of the things the big names have but that's okay. It feels like your neighborhood grocery.
Their selection of items is truly inspiring, and the people that work there are super nice and helpful. But Major Markettends to be pricey that's why I only go there when I'm looking for a specialty item. Today it was fresh halibut, which was reasonably priced.
I love major market! If you're looking for a unique sauce, dressing, dip or salsa I guarantee nowhere else has as large of a selection! Prices are a tad higher than your typical grocery store but the variety makes up for it as well as the friendly folks who work there.
Great Store but they have gone commercial...High prices, Von's style layout...
