Valerie McNevin was friendly and happy to explain things to me. She was knowledgeable in regards to the tax laws regarding my business, and asked important questions to make sure she had the proper information. She was relaxed, but at the same time very efficient. It was a very positive experience.

Valarie doesn't have a clue what she is doing. I had the most simple tax form ever.. The 1040 single form! All I needed to was file for My economic impact payment! I did not even have to file for taxes. Valarie did not listen to me. I was very clear all I wanted to do is file for my $600 impact payment and correct my address/bank account with the IRS. I moved since the first payment. She completely got it wrong and filed for the $1,200 payment from last year. I contacted her to explain what happened and she argued and tried to blame me! I was clear about the $600 and simply needed to update my Info. with the IRS. She sent in the $1,200 request and told me She found another $600... This didn't make since, so I pointed it out to her. Now I look like a fraud with The IRS by no fault of my own. Then Had the nerve to charge me for a full tax preparation ! What Crooks!!

Phyllis Brown is the best, I've been coming to her for years now. She was moved to a Solona Beach location and I make the drive from Escondido for her. She's taken great care of me. She takes her time.
