Save A Lot

Great prices and now and then they have T-bones at great prices. Worth the trip for the steaks alone!

One of my main stores...just wish there was more help up front when needed because the line can get pretty backed up with just one cashier. Other than that LOVE IT!

Edit: the owner and managers I've talked to are great. I'm making an edit to point that out and say thank you for your time. I did complain a bit but everything was taken care of and I appreciate it your store, regardless, does what it's suppose to. Provide food at great prices in great atmosphere in a clean space. Xoxo I'll still be shopping at your store.nnThe store is clean and orderly, prices are good. It's the people that work there I don't like and I'm kind of willing to travel to spend a few cents extra. Adama, a cashier there, threw $250 worth of groceries in a carriage. Yogurt and bread at the bottom, all the boxes were covered with our bottles of soda, water and juice, so everything was crushed, or popped open or oozing contents. We had to take everything out of the carriage and inspect the items before bagging anything because of the amount of product damaged. I'm sorry, I may be shopping for a discount, but have some darn respect for other people's FOOD. Your cashier's need some serious retraining because quite frankly, if you can't put food in a carriage in an orderly manner, maybe she would work better cleaning toilets and getting carriages and give someone more deserving the position because ADAMA doesn't belong around people or products with that mentality and attitude. Maybe you should make a tally of daily damaged products during her shifts, see how many products are seriously damaged while she's working. Very upset with everything and calling Corporate.

Save A Lot is a small grocery store that has a mish mash of things. You can get lucky and find name brand products for much cheaper but most of their products are private labeled and sole exclusively just for them. Their private label food is somewhat decent for last minute items. it's close to home and never overly crowded so makes going shopping easy. I admit I spend less at Save A Lot because the private label and it has way less choice's but in a pinch it works. I wouldn't buy produce from there bc it's never fresh and overly ripe. This store for someone on a very tight budget.
