There was a very long wait for food (about an hour) but it was very good once I got it. Nice location among the fishing boats. The servers were very nice. I am guessing they just need to figure out the timing and/or have more kitchen help.

Worst experience. Gave this restaurant a try after coming off the ferry. My husband and I were starving. We attempted to go to restaurants at the end of the street and there was a 3 hour wait. We went into this restaurant and it was pretty dead with only a few couples. We thought great we can get in and out and we placed an order. Nearly an hour and three excuses from the owner and our waitress we decided to up and leave and never received our food. We were worried about our car and had to get home to our dog. We had over a one hour drive home to MA and it was now 9pm. Good name this place is best left in the fog...The owner said everyone came in at once an placed orders by then there may have been 15 ppl there.

We were hungry and took a chance and up the stairs we went. Apologies were given right away about how backed up they were despite being one third full. The server and a woman manager were nice and all but the food wait was very long. I'll speculate and say judging from the sweat on the owner, he had no kitchen staff. Too bad, the view was decent. I did get plenty of drinks though, so that was the only plus here.

NOTES FROM THE BATHROOM.....nA little early for the ferry to BIRI so we climbed the twenty step staircase to Captain Foggy’s right next door to the ticket office. This is a nice local place that probably caters to a lot of transients going to and coming from Block Island so keep in mind that you are not the only one who wants your tab 10 minutes before the ferry leaves.nWe waited about 4-5 min for our drinks which wasn’t bad considering 10 other people approached the bar at the same time. Dan did a great job. Bloody Maria and Tequila Sunrise were delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Atmosphere was cozy and laid back with a fireplace and baby grand piano. Did not order food but I suspect a typical pub menu. Overall, it was a great place to start our day. Oh...and the bathroom situation.....very important!.......could use updating but it was clean. Don’t have incredibly high expectations and you won’t be disappointed.
