This is the third Ford I have purchased at FloodnFord. Almost immediately it had a major problem. I asked about a recall and was told a recall is not issued until a certain number of vehicles have the problem. After that was repaired I started experiencing problems with the battery and was told everything was fine. But the car battery would be dead, usually when out of town when left unattended overnight. I asked for a new battery, since it was under warranty and was told it didn’t need one. A year later I am still having the problem as well as the lights on the dashboard going off periodically, indicating an electrical problem. The service dept kept the car 4 days and found nothing wrong. They promised me a loaner car and instead gave me a F150 truck with 1/8 of a tank of gas. I asked if that would even take me home and was told he didn’t know. Meanwhile I left my car with 1/3 full and received it back practically empty. My son said his neighbor had the same problem with his Ford Escape indicating a manufacturers problem. I had them put a new battery in the car, but of course the warranty has expired, making me pay for the battery. The car is not repaired and I will have to take it to another competitive Ford dealer to diagnose the problem. I am a very unhappy, dissatisfied customer.
