Received a small loan from Chartway Federal Credit Union. We were not informed at the time of purchase we required insurance. We obtained the necessary insurance as soon as we were notified by mail 8 weeks after the loan was processed. We received notification that a huge insurance premium was added to our Loan balance. (596% more than what our Agency charged us for full coverage) Sent all documentation to the Attorney Generals Office.
Good credit union. But its the only branch in RI.n(Was chart way credit union at the time - 3 star)nnAs Navigant - 5 Star - Great customer service, many convenient branches, great perks. Very glad that our account was transferred to them.
