Ok to walk. A hill area good for sliding after snow storm. Be careful walking on park road from tennis courts to Smithfild Avenue. Cars speed through.

For a small walk with kids is awesome. The playground is safe and clean. There is a tennis field and other sport fields. I go there to read with my kids.

Great local place for stress relief

One of the worst parks I've ever been to! It sounds great when someone tells you about it because there are grills, stone fire places, a pool, tennis court..etc. but when you get there the first thing you'll notice is the amount of garbage all over the place! The grass is patchy, hard and ugly. There's more ant hills than grass. There's too many bugs! The flies will swarm around your food! The people here will comfortably smoke marijuana next to you and your children. I'm okay with people being stoners and needing it medically but please be considerate of other people and the children. Also make sure to never leave anything behind because it WILL get stolen. You'll never see it again and the staff will not be of any help at all.

The park is pretty ordinary but I found a very old and cool canal bed lined with stone. It's way in the back of the park.
