The public parking area for the beach is at the end of Pheasant Drive just past the railroad tracks immediately adjacent to the gated Newport Beach Club property. You’ll see an Urban Coastal Greenway Public Access sign. They’re handicapped parking spots and enough beach to go around. Probably the best area to get a nice view of the Hog Island Lighthouse and one could walk further out closer to the Mt. Hope Bridge.
