Amazing area and views! Definitely can get your legs burning from the elevations if you go long enough. If you have pets PLEASE CHECK FOR TICKS. I spray and apply tick repellent on my dog and she still ended up with a bunch.nSafe trailing ♡
Nice experience, we'll go here again. Most trails in the area are too easy, but this one is more challenging. Dogs are allowed (yes!), the views are great, the history is showcased well, and the people are so nice. The only negative is this may be difficult set of trails for people with issues walking, especially in wet weather. Other than that, definitely a place to visit in all seasons!
Nice place for a walk with kids and dogs but not for old dogs or people. The hills and stairs can be too much for them
Some of the walk ways have wide enough spacing in the would so that cane tip is captured. Nice walk none the less.
Beautiful spot for a gentle hike, lots of oak and holly trees as well as a brook to provide drinking water for your dog.
