Quite a nice hidden gem in the heart of Akron.. Clean, well lit, open all night, within walking distance of many downtown places of interest.. bars, Civic Theater, parks, walkways and even a putt-putt golf course! Skooter rentals are available for a few dollars making the whole area accessable in just a few minutes from one side to the other..

Lock 4 is currently being renovated, but what an amazing little area. Beer garden overlooking the flowing locks is a great site with plenty of seating. This is going to be one of Akron's hidden little secrets. Make sure you add this to your to do list and hang for a bit.

I can't wait to see what it looks like when the mural is complete. The lighting is spectacular at night. Lots of great events and music too. The rental options looks to be promising as they overlook the waterway....
