A really nice trail! Mostly even and easily traversed. Not the quietest trail in the world, with the major roads so close, but still nice to walk.
Love it! Scenic. Well maintained. Didnt get 5 stars only because the sewer pipes that run through the area.. kind of yuck.. ya know.. ? Lol

Saw the bald eagles this morning. What a beautiful sight! Nice place to hike or run.
I catch the Towpath here at least once a week to ride my bike. I've rode the whole Towpath and think this is probably the most scenic area of the trail. Jump on and go North, you'll pass through Merriman Valley, then get deep into CVNP!
