COVID-19 PROTOCOL -- I love supporting local businesses and Gionino's in the Valley (N. Portage Path) WAS one of my favorite pizza shops. Tonight, however, when we picked up the pizza, NO employee in the establishment was wearing masks appropriately (covering mouth and nose) and there was no way to maintain social distance from employees or customers who were not. When I called to ask if the pizza was safe to eat, I was told (extremely rudely) by the owner that they were not required to wear masks. Please support our local businesses, but only those who are working hard to keep us safe!

I just experienced the worst customer service ever. I called about my order being wrong but got told it was all my fault. I tried to read the menu to prove my point and got cut off with her trying to read the same thing to me. She was mad and got rude each time we called to get it taken care of. I will never go to this valley location even though it is around the corner from me. I will drive a half hour to go to a different location owned by someone else. $33 down the drain.

I order here about once every two weeks and never have any issues. They have $5 small pizzas during the week for lunch and their salads are just as good as any other pizza place's. Plus, the dressing is amazing. The owner has always been friendly to me and I love that it's locally operated.

The close randomly, never have a delivery driver, the cole slaw is always runny, and the owner is rude. We love gioninos but will drive to a different one before we go to this one.

Oh my God. I'm a 60 year old Italian and I assure you I know what good pizza tastes like. This is absolutely the worst pie I have ever been served. We each took two bites and threw the rest in the trash. Not Italian. Not even pizza
