A large well kept park. It is, of course, busy on weekends during good weather, but lightly used during the week except by a sizeable homeless population and it is also known for drug trafficking, but then I would guess most public parks are any more.
A few different play grounds for different ages and a couple of baseball fields not too bad for a family day with younger kids
Nice park big fenced area in where you can take your dog to fetch or play Frisbee. Make sure you bring a bag to pick up your dogs poop. There is a nice trail next to the park that takes you to the RosePark Golf course. Dogs are allowed on the trail but must on their leash. I enjoy sitting here during sunny days in Winter, summer nights and Spring. The park is pretty clean and the people in the park are nice.
It's a great park except for the judgemental tourist that like to judge people accordingly.other then that there's friendly locals and caring people with their kids.
Cuz it's a fun family place in its peaceful Park
