Ming's Bubble Tea

Excellent service and awesome tea. My wife and I always stop by when we are in the area, and have only had great experiences with Ming's.nnEdit: it's been two years since I initially wrote this review, and if I could give them more stars I would. The service has been consistently excellent, and the staff is always going the extra mile.

Been coming here for a while now but had a couple bad experiences mainly with the same girl and this is the first time I had to call the store. I tried to order but she kept saying something completely different from what I was trying to order. I looked over what was on the black board and thinking I read it wrong and nope it was their said they have passion fruit pineapple tea, and then the girl goes what’s that???? I told her it’s the tea you have advertised on your board here and I pointed. Then I was just awkwardly stared at. So I thought oh ok it must be the mask causing the confusion. So I lowered a little bit so she could hear me, mind you were a distance between us also a large. Plastic shield and she’s wearing her face covering as well. Then she continues to stair at me then says we can’t serve you without a mask on. Like I swear to god I’m in the twilight zone!!!! I just left after that l, like wow!!!!

Today, about an hour ago was the first time my boyfriend and I tried bubble tea here. The tea itself was not bad at all. That was unfortunately the only decent part of Ming’s. We drove 40 minutes to try it since some of my friends that live in Kent have raved about it before. When we first walked in, all the tables and chairs are moved over to the right. There was a line of people to the door that seemed to be waiting to order. No one said hello when we walked in. There were two or three employees working on orders behind the counter. There was one girl who kept going to the register and back to making drinks. Now the way the tape was all laid out on the ground was a little confusing for it being the first time inside there and a line of people to the door. We waited for maybe ten minutes before asking a lady in front of us where to order. She said she didn’t know and that she ordered online. So then we walked over to the counter where I just said oh I’m sorry we’ve not been here before and were a bit confused by the line. Then still no greeting, she just stared at me. So... I asked what she would recommend as the first drink. She rattled off what seemed to be memorized and sped through it like I was an idiot for asking. I was so surprised at her attitude for being the face of this business. Two first time customers a bit confused that walk in and get talked down to. We waited another 15 minutes before getting our drinks. We were number 100. She didn’t ask us for a name as I heard most other people got their names called. Whether that was from online ordering or not, this was just a bad experience from the moment we stepped inside.

Favorite bubble tea place by far. Really cute interior and atmosphere, have so many great memories from here. They do a really great job with Covid safety/cleanliness/distancing too. The bubble tea itself is always awesome with a huge selection to try. You can customize with different bobas and jellies, and they have some snacks/desserts too. There are a ton of non-dairy options for vegans etc and they always have new seasonal drinks to try. Always a great time and they really have something for everyone.

I really love Ming's, great tea and great workers! The post-it wall is always fun to look at while you wait on your drink and the interior has a nice atmosphere. I just wish i lived closer lol
