My husband and I stayed at The Genesis House 3 years ago on our way to Michigan to celebrate my 30th birthday. Lodging was wonderful! We stayed in the Gus Room, and it was absolutely perfect, quaint, and homey. Snacks, and small toiletries were provided, and it was just so comfortable. We grabbed some coffee for the ride to Michigan the next morning, and perused their variety of soaps and gifts. Wonderful coffee, staff, and my continued love for the Epic Soap Company, which they sell right in the coffee shop! Bonus: a trial size of Epic Soap was in our room! :) Just a great little getaway, in a quaint town! Definitely hope to visit again someday!

What a cute coffee house!! My sister and I were doing a girl's day and found this unique little shop. Easy access and friendly clerk made the stop worth the trip. The drinks were delicious and sandwiches were great. Will definitely try the Genesis House the next time we are in the area.

The Lady working was very nice and helpful because I had no clue what I wanted. The place has a very calming atmosphere and the coffee and muffins are wonderful. I will be going back.

During an early morning on the road, I searched for a local coffee shop to give me the boost I needed. It's hard to find somewhere local on a long trip. Luckily, I found the Genesis House! Bailey, the manager, served me that morning and was super patient as I tried to find what I wanted to settle on. As she helped, I decided on a spiced dirty chai with almond milk. And let me say... it was the best almond milk dirty chai I had in a long time! It was perfectly blended (the almond milk brand was great and didn't leave a gritty taste). And, at the same time, it was reasonably priced at 5.60 for a 16 oz. A homey stop with nice service and great coffee. I hope to stop again soon ud83dude0dud83dude0b
