We were looking for a place to have lunch around Medina Ohio and happened upon Cups Cafe, what a surprise was in store for us. It's not the diner that I remembered from the 70's, it's a volunteer run restaurant that serves meals to school children who do not eat a meal before or after school and they also offer to feed adults and families as well as a food pantry that helps needy families get through hard times. The staff is non-denominational and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.nIf you are traveling through Medina it is on Pearl rd just North of the town square. Stop in for a really good cup of coffee and maybe donate a couple bucks to help a great cause.
Very kind. Loving the concept. A big group of 20 kids came in after school. Amazing place for community gathering. Great food and coffee.
