Saterra slayed my hair! She was so nice, friendly and talented. I definitely have found my new regular stylist. She even gave me hair care tips for my natural hair as well as the extensions which I had gotten elsewhere

I schedule an appointment 3 weeks ago with a stylist name Gia and provided a deposit to her. The appointment was at 10 AM Saturday April 27th. At 12:04 AM April 27th, we get a inbox on Instagram from the stylist named Gia stating she has a funeral to go to and she would need reschedule. Very rudely she advised we should either come another day or she’ll return the deposit. I instantly reached out to the salon owner. She found another stylist by the name of Ari that said she would take care of us and for us to come right over. We arrived within 20 minutes and didn’t leave to almost 6 hours later. The stylist did a great job ...BUT.. the way they talked about the stylist that flaked on us and the owner behind there backs was ridiculous. The stylist Gia that flaked on us was apparently at her side boyfriends funeral, per her coworkers. They even bet she would get jumped at the funeral.The girl that washed blow dried and flat ironed my daughters hair played City Girls and other inappropriate music while an elderly woman was there. They talked about the owner B. Smith as if she was dirt. Ari, the stylist that took over, went on and on how she is removing herself from a group chat because B. Smith ALWAYS calls her to clean up behind other stylist etc. She went on and on and if we didn’t have a prior engagement scheduled, we would have left. We continued to look for other stylist while waiting. To add insult to injury, the shop was filthy. The amount of dust and crumbs on the floor was horrible. The restroom looks like it hadn’t been tended to in weeks. I reached out to the owner just to be cursed out by her and Gia. Again great hair style for the price but WE will never frequent again even if it was free.. lastly, Gia was not the only stylist that didn’t show. Another stylist clients had to be serviced by Ari as well after being charged a 25% gratuity.

First off I will say that I will NEVER GO BACK. Appointment was at 10:30a didn’t get out of there until 4p. She did all her other appointments(regulars) and even a walk in before me. I went to get a closure sew in. She didn’t put anything on my hair so my scalp Under this sew in - closed. dry and white. She notice it and said she would put something on it WHICH SHE DIDNT. I bought a net for my hair so it could be put on my head. But she didn’t use it. So now I m dry scalp . Itchy hair , no net and it’s breaking off from Being so tight and dry. My closure isn’t even to my part in my head because the braider made the part missed up and she still put my closure on talking about she will make it work but instead of fixing it and making it look like she cares. But for me to be a new customer most def didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. Your BETTER OFF GOING TO IHaircandy. At least my part wasn’t off . This was most def a waste of $191. The sad part about it and why kills me the most is the owner / boss / manger . Did my hair now explain ? ud83eudd14

I love the atmosphere of the salon. All of these girls are great. From hair to make up they do it all.
