Visitor center all but closed. Bathrooms all closed. All maps are very poor quality for finding destinations and hiking trails are not often labeled well. HOWEVER the park is very large and has some scenic areas to visit. The historic village and waterfalls are nice, and the views of the lake. The down side is this park could be much better with improved trails, maps, and signs.

Today is March 2nd and the visitor center was closed. However, in spite of the cool temperature, the sky was clear and the sunshine was warm. Great day for a walk and the beautiful setting at the Caesar Creek Visitor Center makes a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors.

The visitor center at Ceasars Creek is great for kids with a willingness to learn. The workers here want to help and make your day enjoyable. Totally free. The whole park really is very nice. Playgrounds and picnic areas are spread out throughout the park. Hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing, and picnicking. If you have a boat, even better. You can even hunt for fosils at the spillway. Just make sure you register for free at the visitor center first.

Took the grandkids to playground to play. No one readies the playground equipment so take towels with you in case you have to drive off.

Most of the visitor is closed due to Covid as of Oct. The scenic overlook provides a good view of the dam and some fall colors.
