Very beautiful and inspiring Christmas display! Worth the two hour drive from Columbus. The crowd on the last Friday of the event (12-18-20) was not too bad and parking was fine when we arrived around 5:30 but could get busy after that at peak times. The cave (well really an old white gravel mine) was a beautiful tribute to the Nativity. Easy to access and walk but those with poor balance should take extra care. Areas of the cave/mine are poorly lit for the atmosphere needed. The reflecting pools with the crosses are very beautiful and comforting to look at and meditate. It is very comfortable inside since it is always around 55F underground. An easy 30 minute walk through. This will likely grow in popularity as word gets out!

This is a beautiful place! Very detailed scripts and scenes depicting the story of Jesus' birth and the traditions surrounding the Christmas season. Perfect place for kids that are able to walk the incline and the length of the cave tour. No wheelchair access and only all terrain strollers or wagons will make the climb to the cave, but if you can go it's 100% worth it. The attraction itself is free; though they do appreciate donations. There are food vendors and a gift shop available. There will be an Easter cave in spring of 2021!

I had a wonderful time at the Christmas Cave. When you pull into the parking lot, it is already a spectacle worth visiting. The hillside is covered in lights, which is all a worthy precursor to the even more incredible light set up inside the mines. Using black lights, lasers, Christmas lights, shadow effects, and water reflections, this light show offered an entertaining experience whether you are a christian or not. The whole your through the cave is about the story of the birth of Jesus, which may be initially not ideal for some, but I promise this tour has something to offer for everyone. It is a really beautiful sight to see.nnAlso, some things I didn't know before going: 1) it's in the middle of no where. If you feel lost, keep going deeper into the darkness; you'll get there! 2) there is food there. There are a couple food stands. 3) there are porta potties.

I couldn't believe this was free!! Definitely worth the drive. Amazing and LOTS to see. Very well done. Story to go along with each scene. Highly recommend!

Really cool experience not many caves in the nation do things like this. It's way out there in the middle of no where gps wasn't very accurate but we found it. Very popular place so be prepared to park far and walk far. But it being free or well donation only. You can't beat an experience like this for this price any where in America!
