I worked on commercial river boats for many years, this was a nice surprise to find in the middle of the state. I spent an other hour reading about the Miami-Erie canal. I love history and especially anything about early river transportation. This is a well preserved piece of history, definitely worth a visit!

Cute mini park. Nice and clean. Great place to eat lunch of just relax for a moment. Also a good place for people with walking issues. The trail is short and pretty even.

Small. Good for a very short walk and not much else. The path is well kept, but there was quite a bit of trash and it abruptly ends in private property

The wooden doors are on the lock, which is terrific because you can visualize how the lock worked. This historic structure is part of the canal that opened Ohio to commerce with the eastern states and beyond. The picnic table, benches and path make this Park a charming place. Avert your eyes from the graffiti and enjoy!
