Don is an amazing guitar player and teacher! It's not the same skill set. He has a unique ability to guide students to become better guitar players. All ages, all abilities. Always fun! I look forward to the lessons. Always tailored to what you want to learn. You only get that with someone with a deep knowledge of the art and craft with the ability to understand and teach what the student is looking for. Both in-person lessons with Don and the on-line lessons have been great.

A few months ago I was introduced to Don by a professional percussionist. He told me Don is the best so I decided to take a lesson from him. Best move I made and I can’t agree more with the person who referred me. Don is an excellent teacher who promotes learning in a relaxed atmosphere. He is encouraging and has helped me to become a much better guitar player. He is teaching me to play several instruments including bass, ukulele and banjo down the road. Don is helping me to find opportunities where I can utilize my skills and play for various venues. He truly is a professional and I know he will remain as my teacher for a very long time. I look forward to my weekly lessons and soon I will be learning more skills at his Rock Camp! Thank you Don! You’re the best!

I started taking lessons with Don roughly 12 years ago. Don is an excellent teacher regardless of the instrument you choose to play. He will tailor your lessons to your learning style to maximize your ability to grow. I also strongly recommend signing up for one of the rock camps.

I have owned a guitar for 30 years but never took a lesson until I started with Don 3 years ago. When I started, I knew four chords. Now I know dozens and, more importantly, I know how to put them together and make noises that sound like songs. Don is great with adult students. I work for a living and don't always take time to practice. Don never hassles me about practice. He meets me where I am and moves me forward a little bit with each lesson. I look forward to my weekly lesson.
