Master Philips is an excellent Taekwondo master and teacher of life skills. He is extremely accomplished at Taekwondo. He has the rare combination of an open and gentle demeanor that welcomes all to his classes while having an intensity of purpose that drives students to achieve their utmost. He emphasizes training the person as a whole not just as a martial artist. Our daughter has been studying at Niskayuna Martial Arts for over a year and she loves it! She has made tremendous growth in her Taekwondo skills and also gained a new appreciation for personal responsibility. Since starting her study with Master Philips she carries herself with increased confidence and consideration for others. We are signing her two younger brothers up for classes with Master Philips as well. We highly recommend Nisky Martial Arts.

We have a great deal of respect for Master Philipps and his family. My three year old Tiny Tiger loves him and respects him, too. Master Philips is truly a Taekwondo master, as well as an excellent teacher who sensitive to the needs of all of his students, yet firm. He sets a high standard, challenging them to their best! His lesson formats help the children learn and enjoy the material. I would never hesitate to recommend Nisky Martial Arts.

Never thought I would have children taking Taekwondo ud83eudd4b. Didn’t want to write the review as this place is a secret gem, but is necessary for any parents that drove past this place while sipping coffee and wondered... Great business in the area and pricing is fair. They take all major credit cards, no Apple Pay. They offer birthday parties packages and even adults can have fun too.

Master Phillips is a great instructor. He has so much patience and is great with my child. You can tell very easily that taekwondo is his passion and he loves teaching.
