All of my children have graduated from GFCSD , a great school system

I received a phone call today that my child was absent from school. I dropped her off so i expected her to be there. I called the attendance office to find out why she wasn't there. The Receptionist at the desk Laura Houssier told me that they were in an assembly and couldn't contact her right away. She would call me back as soon as possible. I was very worried from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and still hadn't received a call back. I had to call the main office to find out what was happening. I was told my daughter was in fact there. After i made the call, Laura called me back and acted as if she was returning my call, but When i had called the main office the women i spoke to asked Laura about my daughter to find out what was happening. So obviously she wasn't even at her desk. I feel very upset that a missing child isn't priority. Also she then spoke to me like i was crazy for being upset. Yes i did have an attitude when i spoke, who wouldn't if you aren't sure where your child is or was. This is all just unbelievable. Not to mention the list of other safety issues that have come up since she has started at this school. My child is a new student this year. We have been having issues with her not trying as much as she should. I spoke with the principal and counselor and was reassured my child would not happen at this school. She had failed all four quarters and every subject in her previous school and i wanted her to be held back. I was told that this school was different and had ways to make sure it doesn't happen and if she is having problems they would contact me directly. She has failed all her subjects again for all four quarters and is being passed. I only heard from one teacher. I emailed the principal teachers and counselor throughout the year. I did not receive any communication back until my daughters chrome book was used for entertainment and not school work. I was called into school to find out that while using her chromebook she was contacted by a pedafile and convinced her to go into an untraceable chat room. Where she was being groomed for terrible things. I don't understand how any of these things arent a priority. How do they even have access to those chat rooms on a school chromebook????? I havent heard from anyone about my daughters well being. I am extremely disappointed in all of this. My next step will be contacting an attorney and the media.
