Spruce Mountain

This is a great beginner hiking trail at 1.3 miles one way. Expect some elevation change (hiking uphill) and to get the view you have to climb the tower part way. But a nice morning hike with a view from the tower.nnBring micro spikes early winter and spring. Snowshoes in the winter. Happy hiking!

Beautiful at the top, amazing view from fire tower. Mostly uphill hike with a few areas that level out.

The hike is not for beginners, unless you plan to take it slow and easy with plenty of water. Trail is well marked though, and the view from the top of the tower is amazing. Plenty of chipmunks to sing to you during your climb as well.

Great little day hike up to the fire tower, maybe an hour each way. Not available during hunting season, but trails remarked in I think 2015 so if you got lost before, you won't get lost this time.

Nothing spectacular but its close to home and its short and easy. Good spot for sunrise and sunset.
