Shorter than I remember, but I do remember the former glory
Oldest Cottonwood tree in America, planted 1699 AD.
I've been living in this area for over 60 years and I have admire the tree for its history and what it has seen in over 300 years. I'm disappointed the poor care or no care given by Newburgh to keep it alive..conserving history has always been at the bottom of Newburgh's priorities...very unfortunate.
Amazing tree and spot if you can find a place to park
Its old its a tree its cool its there still but its a tree.
