West Hills County Park

Nice park close to Long Island expressway. Multiple trails to explore depending on how long you want your hike to be. Be careful as few trails are shared with the horse riding academy which is on the entrance to the park. Has a picnic area with restrooms, tables ,barbecue stations to grill your own food and a children’s play area and dog run.

A few more benches would be nice at the small dog park

Met up with my work team for a social distancing gathering. It was a nice place with plenty of room and picnic tables. Removed from the highway noises and well kept. A short distance from 110 and Walt Whitman mall.. There is also a horse training center along the same road. There is a public bathroom and dog park. I would recommend this park.

Clean public restroom, dog run, stables. We hiked with our dogs, on leash , on the gorgeous, well maintained trails. Everyone we encountered was polite and friendly & socially distancing.

Plenty of space to hike, nice winding trails up and down.
