Vapco was recommended to me by another person who has done a lot of work for me. The work I was interested in having done was replacing an entire HVAC system in a guesthouse; putting in a new HVAC system in a new room over my garage; and checking the AC system on an RV. I called them and spoke to one of the Vaphiadis brothers (John) and talked to him about the extent of the work, the fact that I was in Cape Vincent and was assured that they could do all the work and that coming to Cape Vincent was not a problem. He asked me to send him an email to confirm our conversation and they would schedule an appointment and let me know shortly. After not hearing from anyone in more then a week I called and again spoke to the same person who again assured me that they got my email request and that they had not forgotten and would schedule an appointment very soon. This all took place almost two months ago and I never heard word one from them. Needless to say that I eventually scheduled an appointment with a more reputable company who came here and completed the work and the total billing for all the jobs exceeded $10,000 which I paid in full. I really can not comment on the work that this company may or may not do because my experience was they were completely unreliable and should be avoided like the plague. My experience leads me to believe that this operation is a scam.
