Be sure to check out the new skywalk, as it offers an opportunity to take in beautiful vistas of the Catskills and Hudson Valley without having to worry about driving. Also, if you're driving through the cash lanes of the toll plaza, you can request a free bumper sticker commemorating the bridge (or any Hudson Valley bridge, really).

It's a bridge. It goes from one side of the river to the other side. It looks nice and has some scenic views.

Lovely walk over a lovely bridge! Fabulous views of the Hudson River and area. Not a long walk over. There is a little park where you can sit on some Adirondack chairs and take in the view. This is a short walk from the Thomas Cole house. Very easy to do both. I highly recommend it but on a nice day.

This bridge is part of the Hudson River Skywalk in Catskill. I enjoyed the architecture of the bridge and the close proximity to the NYS Bridge Authority and DOT. It is a safe location and offers great views of the Hudson River.

Sturdy bridge spanning the mighty and storied Hudson River, within sight of Oleanna, the gallery displaying works from the Hudson School, dedicated to depicting the region’s landscapes. Toll collected only when crossing to Columbia County. A sign notifies you that you are crossing into the ‘leatherstocking’ region....
