Mossy Point Boat Launch

It's free, easy to get in and out, boat inspection on site, lots of parking for trailers. You'll need a Lake George sticker to launch, but they will sell you one on site. Make sure to get back in before they close the gate for the night or you'll be sleeping on your boat!

Not much to say about a boat launch :) but this one is nice an easy. Multiple docks for quick access and no long lines. Nice spot to drop in at Lake George

Great launch. Shallow angle ramp. Totally protected from wind and waves/wakes. Docks are stable and have rubber cushion so fenders are not necessary. Deep keel boats should be wary of the end of the ramp at about 5ft depth. My 22ft Whaler slides off well before the rear trailer axle reaches the end of cement.nParking is ample but the flow can be strange when crowded on weekends. If there is a fishing tournament on Lage George, the lot fills early in the morning.nLove this quiet and protected ramp!
