Shear Madness "Haircuts for Kids"

Took my 2 year old here for his first hair cut and he had such a blast! Great enviorment for kids and even better staff. This will be our go to place from now on!

My seven year old has waited a year because of COVID to get her ears pierced. I waited it out to take her to Cowpok that was highly recommended, but couldn’t get an appointment the day we decided to finally go and chose to come here instead. She was excited but obviously nervous about this big event she’s waited so long for. After walking past all of the high quality stuffed animals, they offered her a dollar store stuffie that was promised to her. The staff didn’t talk to her at all as she sat in the chair nervous and spoke to me only while they marked her ears and she braced herself thinking this was the big moment. They never walked her through what they were about to do and I had to interrupt their talking to make her feel safe and secure. They brag about doing both holes at once, but it was obvious one of the girls piercing was very young. When they pierced her ears, the girl’s gun malfunctioned and the earring bent. My daughter was left with a hole bleeding with no earring in it. The other woman in charge reacted by repeating, “oh my God, oh my God, that’s never happened,’ over and over while I stood there holding my daughter’s hands looking her calmly in the face that it was okay so she wouldn’t be freaked out by their reactions. So, the girl wiped the blood and had to put her through it again while I hoped it was in the same spot and that it would all be okay. The girl was obviously shaken up and I felt bad knowing she didn’t mean harm, but I was disappointed with their customer service that no amends were attempted to be made with us for what they just did. No sincere apologies, no discount, no mention of what happened but, ‘Here’s your bill.’nnI originally wasn’t upset and about the gun mishap figuring it was a freak accident, however after speaking with a friend today she said the same exact thing happened to her daughter at another location. There is obviously not the best customer service, care, concern or training here for what is a big event in a little girls life. I highly regret not waiting it out one more week for Cowpok like I originally planned.

This place was actually recommended by a friend to me who brought her daughters here. Our first time here was on Saturday for my daughter's 9th birthday. We got her and her 2 friends hairs done, all their toes and nails done and their makeup done. The workers were so nice, professional and just overall great! After the kids were all done, they didn't rush us out or anything like that. We stayed back for a bit and took extra pictures and stuff. All the kids had a great time and they offer more things here than what i even knew! I would definitely recommend this place! I'd give it 10 stars if i could! Only thing i would suggest that i did see someone else suggest too was that theres no seating for the adults, but it was not a huge deal at all! Great place! Great experience!

First time here. I brought my 8 month old daughter in to get her ears pierced. The two women were WONDERFUL with her. So calm, soft spoken. Made sure the markings were correct before piercing. I would recommend.nnI'll be back when my daughter has hair to get her first cut.

I brought my 5 year old daughter to get tangles taken out of her hair.I called ahead i came from Jamestown n.y. THEY SAID WE CAN DO IT. We get there the hairstylists said we can't takes her brush through 2 times WOW. Not professional at all.
